Latitude Legal is seeking an experienced New York Trust & Estate Litigation Paralegal to join an estate planning boutique on a part-time fully remote basis. The firm specializes in wills, trust, and estate planning, handling complex trusts and estates, guardian ships, conservatorships, and related probate matters for beneficiaries, trustees, and fiduciaries. This role is ideal for a transaction-focused paralegal with strong experience New York trusts and estate matters who thrives on substantive work, enjoys engaging with attorneys and clients, and is comfortable managing tasks independently in a remote setting.
What You'll Do Includes:
Provide substantive support in trust, will, and estate matters, including drafting and preparing wills, trusts, and other estate documents.
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, fiduciaries, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision.
Conduct legal research related to trust and estate matters, statutes, and procedural issues to support attorney strategy.
Who You Are:
Litigation paralegal with 2-5 years of New York trusts, estates, and will experience.
Skilled in drafting and organizing estate documents and supporting attorneys through all phases of drafting and preparation.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active matters in a remote environment.
Strong communicator with a professional, client-service mindset.
Tech-savvy, with experience using cloud-based case management and document management systems.
Paralegal certificate preferred (or equivalent practical litigation experience).Able to work independently while remaining responsive and collaborative with attorneys and staff.
Outstanding references required.

Pay:
The annualized pay for this position ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate's preference (each candidate's pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate's competitiveness for the position).Benefits:
In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
