We are seeking independent appellate brief counsel to join our remote platform on a performance-based compensation model.

This opportunity is designed for attorneys who:

  • Prefer autonomy over office structure

  • Are entrepreneurial or operate independently

This is not a salaried position

  • Structured case materials
  • Administrative support
  • Established briefing frameworks
  • High-volume, writing-focused work

You provide:

  • High-quality federal legal writing

  • Reliable turnaround

Attorneys who maintain a full caseload typically average $5,000–$8,000 per month by month six
, with annual earnings commonly reaching $150,000+, depending on volume and efficiency.

Who This Is Ideal For

This opportunity tends to be a strong fit for:

  • Solo practitioners seeking scalable writing-based revenue
  • Attorneys who prefer remote work
  • Experienced litigators transitioning into appellate-focused work
  • Attorneys comfortable with performance-based compensation
  • Attorneys who enjoy the practice of law, but would prefer to avoid court appearances or client contact

This is not ideal for candidates seeking:

  • Salary guarantees
  • Structured office supervision
  • Traditional associate-track employment
Compensation Structure
  • Commission-based per brief
  • No salary or draw
  • Volume scales with performance

We do not provide insurance, benefits, or salary guarantees. Contractors maintain full control over their work hours and location.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) Writing samples
  • Brief description of your experience with performance-based or contingency work and/or an explanation of why you believe this opportunity is a good fit for you.
