Litigation Attorney (Florida-Licensed)

We are a boutique, litigation-focused personal injury law firm seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants increasing responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and long-term growth in a fast-paced environment. We care about excellence and accountability.
The RoleYou will handle cases from inception through resolution with hands‑on responsibility (with oversight and assistance from other lawyers). These functions include the following:
- Investigate when a case comes in
- Draft the complaint
- Draft and pursue discovery
- Draft and manage motions
- Take depositions
- Argue motions
- Work directly with clients
- Collaborate closely with partners on litigation strategy
- Communicate with our partners, clients, referring attorneys, defense counsel
This is a primarily remote position
. Candidates must reside in South Florida and be available for occasional in-person meetings, hearings, or proceedings. To stay aligned, our legal team meets daily via Zoom to coordinate priorities and workflow. We mentor through daily Zoom meetings, meetings with Jack Hickey and other partners, prescribed books, our own policies and procedures, trial lawyer webinars, trial lawyer seminars, and other programs.
We’re Looking For Required
- Licensed to practice law in Florida
- At least 5 years in practice, with a minimum of 3 years in civil litigation
- Strong research and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases
- Professional judgment, responsiveness, and attention to detail
- Undergraduate degree earned with honors
- Law degree earned from a law school ranked in the Top 50 in the US
- Law degree earned with honors from a law school ranked in the Top 100
- Law degree earned with high honors from a law school not in the Top 100
- Clerkship with a Federal Judge or Magistrate Judge
- Federal court experience
- Experience with complex civil litigation
- Significant motion practice and courtroom exposure
- Attorneys with experience at the U.S. Attorney’s Office or Federal Public Defender
- Litigators from boutique or high‑quality defense firms seeking more challenging cases
- Longevity (3+ years) in prior attorney positions

Benefits:
Packages for lawyers are $12,686 to $23,524/year (health insurance, 401(k), long‑term disability plan (LTD), dues and subscriptions to The Florida Bar and other bar associations, seminars, webinars, maternity/paternity leave). Range depends on pension plan contributions and bar dues which depend on the number of years out of school and the number of years with the firm and earnings.
