Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney; Hybrid

This is a contract to perm opportunity, fully remote (except for hearings.)

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law that overlap with Consumer Bankruptcy. This role requires exceptional legal drafting skills, the ability to litigate effectively, and proficiency in legal research tools. As an Attorney, you will represent clients in legal proceedings, provide expert advice on legal matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

You must be familiar with Nextchapter and/or Bestcase Bankruptcy software.

• Represent clients in court and during legal negotiations.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools.
• Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in various areas of law which overlap with Consumer Bankruptcy.
• Prepare for trials by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to your practice area.
• Manage case files efficiently to ensure timely progress on all matters.

This is a hybrid role which is primarily work from home with periodic in person meetings at our Downtown Orlando office and/or at various court houses in Central FL for representation (90% WFH)

Pay:
From $42.50 per hour

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and Middle District.
• Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to litigate cases effectively in court settings.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
