Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in Saint Charles, IL. The firm specializes in complex domestic relations matters, including contested dissolutions and business valuation disputes. The successful candidate will manage their own docket and engage directly in active litigation.
Duties- Draft pleadings and discovery documents.
- Prepare for and appear at hearings and trials.
- Manage client relationships independently.
- Five or more years of litigation experience, with a preference for family law.
- Proven ability to take ownership of files and see them through to completion.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for clients.
- Strong work ethic and sound judgment.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
- Excellent litigation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
