Fully Remote Special Counsel – Employment Law (No Business Development)

$185,000–$205,000 base + bonus

Fully remote Special Counsel role with consistent litigation work and no expectation for business development.

A national labor & employment law firm is seeking an experienced employment attorney to handle employer-side litigation and counseling matters across a national platform.

• Manage employer-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Handle single-plaintiff disputes and EPLI-covered claims
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings (EEOC, DOL, and state agencies)
• Draft pleadings, motions, and pre-litigation strategy
• Provide employment counseling and risk mitigation guidance
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices

• 8+ years of employment law experience in a law firm setting (in-house or government experience alone will not be considered)
• Strong employer-side (defense) employment litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload from inception through resolution
• Excellent writing, analytical, and client communication skills

Active bar membership in at least one of the following states is required:

Florida, Kentucky, Texas, California, Arizona, New York, or New Jersey.

• Bonus: up to 10%
• Billable expectation: approximately 1,750–1,850 hours
• No business development or origination requirements
