Senior Conflicts Attorney

A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conflicts Attorney to join its growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong conflicts and risk management experience to take on a key role within the firm. This role is well suited for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated risk analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and working independently in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, identify, and resolve potential ethical and business conflicts of interest involving clients, matters, new business, and incoming attorneys.
- Conduct reviews of conflicts reports and resolve identified issues.
- Support matter opening and risk review processes.
- Assist with client engagement letters, waivers, disclosures, and related documentation.
- Negotiate outside counsel guidelines.
- Advise attorneys on ethics, professional responsibility, and legal risk issues.
Qualifications
- Law degree and active law license in good standing.
- 5+ years of related experience in conflicts, legal risk management, professional responsibility, or a comparable law firm environment.
- Familiarity with rules of professional responsibility and conflicts of interest principles.
Compensation & Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000 depending on experience. Benefits package includes (but is not limited to) medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance; a 401(k) savings plan.
