We are engaging Compliance Attorneys to participate in a dynamic project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents and compliance materials to inform AI system development.
- Draft detailed explanations, rationales, and responses to complex compliance scenarios, enhancing machine learning data sets.
- Evaluate and critique AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy, logic, and adherence to U.S. compliance standards.
- Collaborate remotely with project leads and technical specialists to provide expertise on nuanced compliance and regulatory questions.
- Develop scenario-based questions and answers reflecting current trends and challenges in compliance law.
- Identify ambiguities or potential legal pitfalls in AI outputs and suggest improvements for clarity and precision.
- Contribute feedback on process enhancements, supporting the continuous refinement of AI training protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active attorney license in good standing.
- 3-15 years of recent, substantive experience practicing compliance law within the United States.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- US-based, currently practicing in the field of compliance law.
- Judicial clerkship experience (service as a clerk for a judge) preferred.
- Experience teaching law courses or legal writing at accredited law schools is a plus.
- Editorial experience with legal journals during law school is highly valued.
