Job Description
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense and negligence litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct depositions, discovery, legal research, and case strategy development.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop effective litigation strategies.
- Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
- Maintain strong client communication while delivering exceptional legal service.
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Bar license.
- 3+ years of insurance defense or negligence defense litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to independently manage litigation files while collaborating with a team.
