We are a growing law firm located in Auburn, Alabama, seeking to hire an associate attorney with 0–2 years of experience. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to gain meaningful hands-on experience and develop practical legal skills in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for a recent law graduate awaiting bar results or a newly licensed attorney looking to begin their career with a firm that values mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with a variety of legal matters, including drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents
  • Participate in client meetings and case strategy discussions
  • Gain direct courtroom exposure and experience under supervision
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys in a team-oriented setting
  • Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Must be in good standing with the Alabama State Bar (unless bar results are pending)
  • 0–2 years of legal experience
  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • A genuine interest in learning and developing courtroom experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team environment

  • This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities for remote work under certain circumstances.
  • Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, recognizing that this is a junior associate position requiring significant training, supervision, and professional development. In addition to base compensation, the associate will be eligible for incentive compensation based on fees collected from clients originated by the associate, subject to the firm’s compensation policies.
