Hybrid role based in either Providence, Rhode Island or Boston, Massachusetts, with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays plus one additional flexible work-from-home day each week.
NoteCandidates must have an active Rhode Island law license and 3+ years of insurance defense and/or litigation experience.

Job Description- Handle litigation matters from pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and resolution
- Draft motions, briefs, legal memoranda, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court and work directly with clients
- Conduct legal research, analyze case facts, and develop litigation strategy
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the court
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as needed
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys and strong support staff on active matters
- Defend a variety of civil litigation matters including general liability, personal injury, construction defect, commercial trucking, and employment-related claims
- J.D. required
- Active Rhode Island bar admission required
- 3+ years of insurance defense and/or litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting motions and other legal memoranda
- Experience with discovery, depositions, and court appearances
- Able to manage cases independently while working well as part of a team
- Active Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Connecticut bar admission is a plus
- Ability to transfer UBE score is a plus
- Employment law, construction defect, and/or commercial trucking experience is a plus
- Hybrid flexibility with predictable in-office collaboration
- Strong mentorship and meaningful hands-on litigation experience
