Employment Litigation Attorney | Remote CA | Am Law 100

Hiring: Associate through Lateral Partner

Location: Sacramento, CA / Remote flexibility throughout California (10+ offices in CA)

Compensation: $130,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus

Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm
, is seeking California-licensed Employment Litigation Attorneys to join its growing management-side employment practice. The firm is open to attorneys ranging from Associate through Partner and offers significant remote flexibility throughout California.

The practice handles sophisticated employment litigation, including FEHA claims, wage and hour matters, PAGA actions, class and representative actions, and multi-plaintiff litigation
.

Candidates with 2+ years of employment litigation experience are preferred. More junior attorneys from Am Law 100 or comparable defense firms may also be considered.

• Defend employers in California employment litigation
• Handle single-plaintiff FEHA matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims
• Handle wage and hour, PAGA, class, representative, and multi-plaintiff matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in mediations, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
• Advise clients regarding litigation strategy, exposure, and risk
• Manage matters independently while collaborating with attorneys across a national platform

• Active California Bar admission
• Employment litigation experience representing employers preferred
• Experience with FEHA and/or wage and hour, PAGA, class action, or multi-plaintiff litigation
• Strong legal research, writing, discovery, and motion practice skills
• Deposition experience preferred
• Ability to independently manage cases and communicate directly with clients
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required
