Founded nearly two decades ago and based in Beverly Glen, with seven offices across California, we are a 130+ attorney firm devoted exclusively to representing public schools, community colleges, educational institutions, and other public entities. We serve more than 500 education clients — school districts, SELPAs, county offices of education, private schools, government agencies, and municipalities. Our attorneys include former educators, school board members, and in-house counsel who bring firsthand operational knowledge to every engagement.
That depth of institutional understanding is what separates us from generalist firms handling education work on the side.
- Base salary range: $120k to $160k
- Quarterly and annual bonuses up to $50k
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with generous firm match and profit sharing

- 1,800 annual billable hours — structured to support sustainable, long-term practice
- Hybrid remote — 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Advise K-12 school districts and community colleges on labor and employment matters
- Support clients across multiple practice areas including students and public agency governance
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions, correspondence, and related documents
- Analyze complex operational and regulatory issues facing public education agencies
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups in a team-based environment
