Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Business and Real Estate Litigation in Pasadena, CA. This role is ideal for newly admitted attorneys eager to gain hands‑on experience in litigation, client interaction, and case strategy. The firm offers mentorship from senior attorneys and a collaborative team environment.

• Review case files, including intakes and court filings.
• Conduct legal research using Rutter's Guides, Annotated Codes, and Lexis/Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to legal documents, including demand letters and pleadings.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and clients via phone, video, and email.
• Supervise paralegals and revise their work product.
• Participate in court appearances, including case management conferences and motions.
• Document billable hours per client per month.

• 0-2 years of experience; business and/or real estate litigation experience in Los Angeles County courts is a plus.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
  Spanish speaking optional.
• Detail‑oriented, diligent, and eager to learn.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving instincts.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe, Dropbox, Zoom, Slack, Asana, Lexis, and Rutters Guides.
• Trustworthy and dependable with a clear background report.

• JD from an accredited law school.

• Active California State Bar membership.
