Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join their team in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, strategy, and enforcement.
Duties- Manage domestic and global trademark prosecution and strategy.
- Handle trademark disputes and online enforcement matters.
- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements.
- Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
- Represent clients in TTAB disputes.
- 3-4 years of intellectual property experience in private practice.
- Strong organizational and technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsBar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
Skills- Proficiency in trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
- Experience with IP due diligence and contract negotiation.
- Strong client service and advocacy skills.
Hybrid in-office/remote work schedule. Collaborative and sophisticated work environment.
