PJI Law, a boutique, busy, and fast-growing law firm in Fairfax, Virginia, is offering an enriching, in-office Externship. This role presents both challenging and rewarding experiences for law students seeking to sharpen their legal skills. As a law clerk, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our civil litigation attorneys. If you're a law student eager to apply your classroom knowledge in a practical, real-world legal environment, this externship is for you.

Your duties as Law Clerk would include:

• Assist in organizing and managing extensive case files related to civil litigation.
• Draft legal documents, including memoranda, motions, and briefs under the supervision of an attorney.
• Conduct legal research using various resources to support case preparation and strategy.
• Work closely with attorneys and legal support team members on civil litigation cases.

Requirements:

• Enrollment as a 2L or higher in an accredited law school.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent research and writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and legal research software.
• Minimum hours required: 120 hours
