We are currently recruiting for a Bankruptcy Attorney in Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Hearing Maintenance
  • Attending hearings and/or preparing local appearance counsel attendance prior to the hearing with clear instructions regarding the desired outcome
  • Providing timely hearing results both internally and to the client if requested
  • Review and sign all pleadings in a timely manner prior to client and/or court submission to ensure compliance with all internal and external rules
  • Monitoring ECFs and dockets in real time and escalating any actionable docket events
  • Confirming both internal and external systems (if applicable) are completed timely and appropriately with information specific to the referral and case
  • Ensuring staff have workable templates that comply with local and federal rules of procedure, as well as any district or judge specific rules
  • Timely escalating, managing and mitigating any matters of risk identified on a file in which the firm or a current client has an interest
