A highly regarded national healthcare and life sciences boutique is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Partner to join and help expand its established regulatory practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney who wants the sophisticated work and market reach of a national healthcare platform while maintaining the flexibility, visibility and business-development opportunities of a specialized boutique.

The firm represents stakeholders throughout the healthcare and life sciences industries, including physician groups, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratories, pharmacies, pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, ancillary service providers and other healthcare organizations.

• At least five years of relevant legal experience
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences regulatory experience required
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar required
• Admission in New York or another jurisdiction is advantageous
• Experience with healthcare fraud-and-abuse laws, including Stark and anti-kickback requirements
• Excellent legal research, analytical and writing skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to communicate sophisticated regulatory concepts clearly and practically
• Portable business is not required

Experience involving telehealth, pharmacy regulation, drug-supply-chain requirements, healthcare licensing, corporate-practice-of-medicine restrictions or healthcare transactions would be particularly valuable.

The firm combines the sophisticated matters and national client base of a larger platform with the visibility and hands-on responsibility available within a specialized boutique.

The anticipated base salary is $200,000-$325,000, depending on experience, class year, credentials and relevant healthcare or life sciences expertise. Associates are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and additional compensation connected to originated business.

The incoming partner will advise healthcare and life sciences clients on complex federal and state regulatory requirements, business arrangements, operational compliance and transactional matters. The attorney will have the opportunity to lead client relationships, mentor attorneys and grow an existing practice within a platform that actively supports business development.

The firm generates significant inbound client interest through its established digital presence, thought leadership and industry-specific content. Qualified leads are distributed to attorneys based on subject-matter expertise and contributions, providing meaningful opportunities to expand an existing book of business.

The firm may also consider supporting the transition of associates or staff where justified by the incoming partner’s practice.
