Candidates must have a Virginia bar license, a J.D., and at least 3 first-chair jury trials taken all the way through verdict. Experienced candidates may be considered for remote work from their current state if they are willing to obtain licensure in the jurisdictions where needed; licensing fees will be covered.

Job Description- Lead personal injury litigation matters from case development through trial and verdict.
- Serve as first chair in jury trials and confidently manage courtroom proceedings.
- Develop case strategy, litigation plans, and compelling arguments designed to achieve strong client outcomes.
- Conduct and oversee depositions, discovery, motion practice, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Analyze medical records, evidence, expert testimony, and other complex case materials.
- Advocate for clients throughout the litigation process and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, experts, and other legal professionals to build effective cases.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the firm’s presence and capabilities in additional jurisdictions.
- J.D. required.
- Active Virginia bar license required.
- 3+ first-chair jury trials taken through verdict required.
- Strong personal injury litigation experience.
- Demonstrated courtroom, trial, negotiation, and case-management skills.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, communication, and advocacy abilities.
- Ability to take ownership of complex litigation matters and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to obtain additional bar licenses when needed.
