Location: Colorado (Remote with travel to Colorado courts)

Job Type: Full-Time, Independent Contract Work

Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses.

Our attorneys regularly appear in county and municipal courts throughout Colorado, representing clients in traffic and misdemeanor defense matters while developing strong litigation and advocacy skills.

• Represent clients in county and municipal courts throughout Colorado, advocating on their behalf through negotiations, hearings, motions, and trials.
• Conduct court appearances, including advisements, pretrial conferences, motion hearings, bond returns, and trials.
• Negotiate case resolutions with prosecutors and court personnel.
• Review discovery, client documents, and case materials.
• Advise clients regarding case strategy and potential outcomes by phone and email.
• Maintain accurate case notes, file complex pleadings, and monitor the status of client requirements and mitigation efforts.
• Work closely with our support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Respond to client communications in a timely and professional manner.

Required

• Active Colorado law license in good standing.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to courts throughout Colorado.
• Strong client relations, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines, a high-volume caseload, and prioritize duties effectively.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Reliable internet, phone service, and office equipment to support administrative responsibilities and virtual court appearances.

Preferred

• Experience appearing in Colorado county or municipal courts.
• Criminal defense or litigation experience.
• Prior courtroom experience.
• Experience handling Colorado traffic law matters.
