, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking an experienced Managing Attorney
to join our talented team in McLean, VA
. This role is hybrid
, and the Managing Attorney must live within driving distance of our office in McLean, VA
.

• Remote First Setting with Brick & Mortar Space Available (in-person as required by courts & clients).
• no billable hourly requirements allowing our Managing Attorney to focus on leadership and development of the staff.

• Oversee daily operations, productivity, and profitability of the McLean, VA office.
• Lead, mentor, and develop legal staff through training, motivation, and support.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR on recruitment and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with other leaders to ensure cross-departmental support.
• Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice on family law matters.
• Represent clients in court, prepare legal documents, and negotiate settlements.

The pay range for this position in this location is $190,000 - $250,000
. Additionally, We are currently offering a $25,000 signing bonus and relocation package.
The structure presented is a reliable estimate of the base salary plus potential commissions based on billable hours and collections that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. • Five (5) or more yearsof devoted Family Law experience preferred.

• Skilled in mentoring and leading a team, while fostering collaboration.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.
• Proficient in client counseling, case prep, case management, and courtroom representation.
• Clear and effective verbal and written legal communication.
• Able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Committed to delivering excellent client service.
• Active admission to the Virginia State Bar.
