Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced remote Associate Attorney licensed in California to join their Complex Fraud Litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to litigate sophisticated civil fraud cases in a fully remote setting.

Duties
  • Develop and execute strategic case plans for complex fraud litigation matters.
  • Manage all phases of written discovery and document production.
  • Prepare for, take, and defend depositions of key individuals.
  • Research, draft, and argue substantive motions throughout litigation.
  • Provide timely case assessments and updates to clients.
  • Identify and collaborate with expert witnesses for trial preparation.
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Prepare matters for trial, including developing strategy and coordinating experts.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing.
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience managing cases from inception through resolution.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with depositions, motions, and discovery management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple complex matters.
Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in California.
