Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced remote Associate Attorney licensed in California to join their Complex Fraud Litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to litigate sophisticated civil fraud cases in a fully remote setting.
Duties- Develop and execute strategic case plans for complex fraud litigation matters.
- Manage all phases of written discovery and document production.
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions of key individuals.
- Research, draft, and argue substantive motions throughout litigation.
- Provide timely case assessments and updates to clients.
- Identify and collaborate with expert witnesses for trial preparation.
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Prepare matters for trial, including developing strategy and coordinating experts.
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience managing cases from inception through resolution.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with depositions, motions, and discovery management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple complex matters.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
CertificationsLicensed to practice law in California.
