Job Summary

A respected legal services firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Vero Beach, FL. This role supports a busy Family Law litigation practice group and is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys, clients, and administrative teams in a fast-paced law firm environment. The Family Law Legal Assistant will play an important role in keeping cases organized, deadlines on track, and client communication professional and responsive.

• Organize, maintain, open, and close physical and electronic legal files, including conflict checks and database updates.
• Prepare, type, proofread, and edit legal documents from dictation, handwritten notes, and attorney direction.
• Manage attorney calendars, contact lists, file listings, meetings, conference rooms, and other appointments.
• Support the client billing process by entering attorney time, editing bills, tracking billing deadlines, and delivering invoices to clients.
• Answer, direct, and manage telephone calls while relaying messages and maintaining professional client communication.
• Provide general administrative and legal support to attorneys and the Family Law litigation practice group.

• Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 annually.
