We are an established boutique law firm located in Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor
, providing sophisticated legal services to businesses and individuals. Our practice is primarily focused on commercial and business litigation, with additional civil and probate litigation matters.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with excellent desk management skills
, strong attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs and keep matters moving.

This position requires someone who can confidently manage a busy litigation desk, prioritize competing deadlines, take ownership of assignments, and follow matters through to completion without requiring constant direction or follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to a busy litigation team

Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related dates

Coordinate, prepare, and file court filings in Arizona state and federal courts, including electronic filing and service

Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents

Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, client meetings, and other case-related matters

Assist with discovery, document productions, deposition preparation, and trial and arbitration preparation

Maintain organized electronic case files and litigation materials

Communicate professionally and responsively with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and other professionals

Monitor assignments and deadlines and proactively follow up to ensure timely completion

Anticipate attorney and case needs and provide proactive day-to-day support

Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the legal support team

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Legal Assistant experience
, including significant litigation experience

Strong experience supporting commercial, business, or civil litigation matters

Excellent desk management, organizational, and prioritization skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple attorneys, active matters, and competing deadlines

Strong litigation calendaring and deadline-management skills

Experience coordinating and filing documents in Arizona state and federal courts

Knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, electronic filing, and service requirements

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong responsiveness, follow-through, and sense of ownership

Ability to anticipate needs and work independently without constant direction

Ability to remain organized and effective in a busy, deadline-driven environment

Professional, dependable, resourceful, and solutions-oriented

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule

$65,000 - $80,000
