Business Contract Attorney (3–7 Years) — Remote Anywhere in Florida, or Hybrid in Jacksonville We killed the billable hour. What’s left is the actual work — and attorneys who are fast, clear, and right get paid more for it, not less.

Our clients are service professionals — financial advisors, fitness and health practitioners, marketers, designers, online educators, mental health providers. Most have never worked closely with an attorney before, and most arrive braced for the jargon, the meter, and the memo that flags eleven risks and recommends nothing.

They don’t get that here. They get a straight answer, a real recommendation, and a price they knew going in. That’s an operating model, not a tagline — and it takes a specific kind of attorney to run it.

The Legal Department for Service Professionals, PA is in a serious growth spurt. We’ve earned real recognition in the Florida legal community, and September brings a full rebrand, a new website, and a new office.

You’ll independently manage business and transactional matters for small businesses across Florida:

• Draft, review, and negotiate the full range of small business agreements — client service, operating, shareholder and membership interest, employment and contractor, commercial leases, licensing/EULAs, vendor, asset and stock purchase.
• Handle business purchases and sales end to end: structure, due diligence, LOIs and purchase agreements, closing, post-closing.
• Advise on IP, ownership structure, worker classification, and the issues that surface when someone is actually running a company.
• Run your own client meetings and new-client assessments. Explain the options in plain English, then make a recommendation.
• Improve the templates and workflows you’re using, and contribute to our educational content, networking, and presentations.

Excellent drafting, negotiating, and deal skills are the price of admission. Beyond that:

• Good judgment. You verify before you speak, and you know the difference between checking and spiraling.

• Presence. You can work a networking room and hold an audience.

Active Florida Bar license in good standing; approximately 3–7 years of direct business and transactional law experience; substantial contract drafting and negotiation; experience advising business clients and managing matters with limited supervision; familiarity with the stages of larger M&A transactions; comfort in a technology-enabled practice.

• Starting at $90,000, plus a production bonus — a percentage of fees above your target. Do more, earn more.

You don’t have to live in Jacksonville. If you’re anywhere in Florida and Florida-barred, you can do this job fully remote. If you’re in the Jacksonville area, our beautiful new office opens in September and hybrid is yours if you want it. Either way, the choice is yours — we hire attorneys who manage themselves, and we don’t need to watch you do it.
