Senior Counsel – Lemon Law Litigation
Southern California, CA
We are looking for a California‑licensed attorney with extensive experience in Lemon Law defense, automotive warranty, and complex civil litigation. The role will involve representing manufacturers and corporate clients in high‑exposure cases under the Song‑Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and related consumer litigation matters across California.
Qualifications- JD from an ABA‑approved school
- California state license
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including deposition and trial preparation
- 5+ years of Lemon Law defense experience
- 2+ years of CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation experience
- 2+ years of general liability defense experience
- Ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial
- Experience with insurance defense matters preferred
- Experience with time‑management systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong independent decision‑making and minimal supervision
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Develop a compelling case theme that outshines plaintiff sympathy or anger tactics
- Maintain high standards and avoid mediocrity
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Collaborate with attorneys of all experience levels within the firm
- Communicate routinely with clients
- Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients
- Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced attorneys
- Base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000 upwards, with additional $7,500 for each tier
