Position SummaryThis position is ideal for an experienced litigation paralegal who is confident managing case-related tasks, who enjoys working independently and collaboratively, who takes initiative by anticipating case needs, who has exceptional attention to detail, and who takes pride in being part of the winning strategy.
This candidate must have at least two years of litigation experience (and trial experience preferred). The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury or a similar legal practice area, and be comfortable working with both pre-litigation and litigation matters.
Compensation$80,000 - $100,000 base depending upon experience, plus bonus structure.

- Manage and assist with personal injury cases from intake through resolution, including both pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Desire to participate in strategy, in a team-oriented environment
- Must be proficient in MS Office, Adobe, and general document management
- Must be familiar and proficient with e-filing in CA State and Federal courts (superior court portals, ECF)
- Must be familiar and proficient with CA State and Federal pre-trial deadlines, and comfortable not only managing deadlines and calendars, but anticipating deadline-driven workflow
- Conduct legal and factual research, and prepare summaries for attorneys
- Propound and respond to written discovery, prepare subpoenas, prepare deposition notices, prepare and/or oppose motions to compel discovery, prepare and/or oppose other dispositive motions such as Demurrers, Motions for Summary Judgment/Adjudication, etc.
- Preparing cases for mediation, including scheduling, and drafting mediation briefs
- Experience and familiarity with trial preparation, including local rules, and including preparing exhibit binders, witness lists, trial briefs, notices of lodging, motions in limine, etc.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients, insurance representatives, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- At least 2 years of litigation experience required; personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with pre-litigation cases preferred
Fluent in Spanish is required - Strong legal writing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities efficiently
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Lexis Nexis or other legal research platforms is preferred
This position is full-time, in accordance with the firm’s hybrid work schedule, and will report to our home office in Irvine.
