A law firm seeks an experienced estate planning and business attorney in Seattle, WA. The role involves providing advanced legal counsel in estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and complex tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, and their businesses.

• Draft and implement advanced estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
• Advise clients on sophisticated estate planning strategies and tax-efficient gifting.
• Provide guidance on federal and state income and estate/gift tax issues.
• Advise on estate and trust controversies, collaborating with litigators as needed.
• Interpret and apply federal and Washington State tax laws.

• LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred.
• Five years of experience in sophisticated estate and tax-oriented planning.
• Advanced knowledge of estate planning techniques and tax law.
• Experience with business succession planning preferred.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
