Legal Operations manager

Immigrants First PLLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Legal Operations Manager to join our team in Manassas, VA. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize daily legal operations to ensure efficiency across all practice areas
• Manage case management systems, workflows, and legal technology platforms
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless case progression
• Monitor compliance with legal procedures, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and office resources
• Track key performance metrics and prepare operational reports for firm leadership
• Support onboarding, training, and performance management of legal support staff

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, law firm management, or a related role
• Familiarity with immigration law processes and case management is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in legal practice management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual (Spanish) a significant plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive process improvements
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
