Paralegal

A collaborative boutique law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a team handling sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters. Unlike many larger legal environments, this role offers significant substantive involvement in casework, providing direct interaction with attorneys and exposure to all phases of litigation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, and PACER.
• Prepare, review, proofread, and manage pleadings, briefs, filings, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate electronic court filings and monitor filing deadlines.
• Organize and maintain case files, deposition materials, hearing and trial notebooks, exhibits, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with document analysis, factual investigations, and case-related research.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Approximately 2-4 years of litigation paralegal experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, proofreading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed and handle time-sensitive requests outside standard business hours.
