NY-Barred Litigation Attorney - Remote Position

A law firm seeks a NY-barred litigation attorney for a remote position based in Wilmington, DE. This full-time role offers a flexible work environment, allowing remote or hybrid arrangements, except for court-mandated appearances. The position involves representing New York clients in diverse and challenging legal issues.

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to expert discovery.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations.
• Draft discovery requests, responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Review discovery responses and prepare litigation update reports.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to settle claims.
• Communicate closely with clients to provide legal analysis and advice.

• Must be barred in NY.
• Familiarity with NY law and procedure required.
• Previous experience in civil litigation preferred.
• Experience drafting discovery and arguing motions preferred.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lexis software.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
