Role
Description:
This full-time remote Labor & Employment Attorney role focuses on advising business clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues. On a day-to-day basis, the attorney will draft and review employment agreements, policies, handbooks, and compliance documents, as well as counsel clients on hiring, discipline, termination, and workplace investigations. The role includes handling employment litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and collaborating with clients on case strategy.
The attorney will monitor developments in labor and employment law, communicate risk and compliance recommendations, and participate in client meetings, negotiations, and training sessions as needed. Depending on business needs, the position may offer hybrid collaboration opportunities with periodic in-person meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with focused experience in Labor and Employment Law and Employment Litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal Research and draft high-quality Motions and other court filings.
- Active bar membership in relevant jurisdiction(s) and eligibility to practice law where clients are served.
- Experience advising employers on policies, compliance, workplace investigations, and risk management.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfort working directly with business clients and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
