Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Partner level Corporate Attorney with over five years of corporate and transactional experience to join their Corporate Practice Group in Syracuse, NY.
Duties- Handle mergers and acquisitions and formation of business organizations.
- Advise on corporate governance matters.
- Draft and negotiate corporate documents, including operating and shareholder agreements.
- Manage commercial contracts and bank financing.
- Provide general business advice and counseling.
- Minimum of five years of corporate/transactional experience.
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating corporate documents.
- Experience with M&A and corporate governance.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsLicensed to practice law in New York State.
Skills- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
