Our staff counsel is currently seeking a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney in Georgia. This is a remote/work-from-home position. This is a full time/exempt role.
Position Overview:As a member of our Staff Counsel group, this attorney will be primarily responsible for handling the defense of litigated claims made against companies in connection with workers compensation matters. This attorney will also be responsible for investigation and management of assigned cases from the inception of the lawsuit until conclusion through dismissal, settlement, or trial, and working with adjusters and insureds to resolve claims as expeditiously and efficiently as possible.
The Hanover offers flexible work arrangements, and this position may be performed in-office, remotely, or hybrid. Travel and in-person appearances to Court/Boards and depositions are required, as necessary.
