Founded in 1976, Porter Scott is one of Northern California’s premier civil litigation firms. For 50 years, we have built our reputation on exceptional advocacy, professionalism, integrity, and trusted relationships with our clients.
Based in Sacramento, our firm combines the resources and sophisticated work of a larger litigation practice with a collaborative environment where attorneys receive meaningful responsibility, hands-on experience, and direct mentorship from experienced trial attorneys.
We invest in developing our associates—not simply as strong litigators, but as future leaders and shareholders of the firm.
Porter Scott is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on litigation position offering the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution while working closely with partners and senior attorneys. Our associates are given meaningful responsibility and opportunities to develop practical litigation and courtroom skills early in their careers.
Porter Scott offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support our attorneys both professionally and personally, including:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) plan with employer contributions
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
- Paid time off and sick leave
- Short-term and long-term disability coverage
- Hybrid and remote work opportunities
- Ongoing training and mentorship
- Meaningful courtroom and trial experience
- Clear opportunities for advancement and a path to shareholder
At Porter Scott, associates do more than research and draft—they develop into litigators.
If you are looking for a long-term opportunity to grow your litigation career, take on meaningful responsibility, and work toward becoming a shareholder, we would like to hear from you.
