Inmigración OK Abogados is seeking a bilingual Immigration Attorney to join our growing legal team. This is a full-time, 100% remote position for an attorney committed to serving immigrant individuals and families with professionalism, empathy, and responsible legal guidance.
The attorney will represent clients before EOIR and USCIS, manage immigration matters, prepare legal filings, communicate directly with clients, and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and administrative personnel.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in virtual and in-person hearings before EOIR, USCIS, and immigration courts when applicable
- Evaluate immigration cases through client interviews, narrative reviews, and analysis of supporting evidence
- Develop legal strategies and provide clients with clear guidance in English and Spanish
- Prepare and review petitions, applications, motions, appeals, briefs, waivers, and supporting documentation
- Draft motions to reopen, continue proceedings, and change venue or jurisdiction
- Manage family-based immigration matters, including Forms I-130, I-360, I-485, and I-601A waivers
- Monitor deadlines, hearings, interviews, requests for evidence, and case records
- Maintain regular and professional communication with clients regarding their cases
- Collaborate with and supervise legal support personnel when required
- Stay informed about changes in immigration laws, procedures, regulations, and agency policies
- Protect client confidentiality and comply with all professional and ethical obligations
- Active license and good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction
- EOIR registration or registration process currently pending
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required
- At least one year of experience practicing U.S. immigration law
- Experience handling matters before EOIR and USCIS
- Knowledge of removal defense, humanitarian, and family-based immigration matters
- Experience preparing waivers, petitions, appeals, and immigration motions
- Strong legal research, writing, analysis, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases and deadlines accurately
- Experience coordinating or supervising legal support teams is preferred
- Availability to travel when required
- Authorization to work in the United States
