The Role
This role exists to support attorneys by managing documents, deadlines, and communications so cases move forward accurately and on time. The team works in a structured, process-driven environment with clear standards for legal accuracy. Work is primarily asynchronous, with detailed documentation supporting handoffs across time zones. The team is internationally distributed, so clear written communication matters. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy once priorities are set.
Attention to detail is expected, since the team has zero tolerance for avoidable errors.
What You'll Do
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and attorney decisions.
Draft correspondence, filings, and legal documents with accuracy and precision.
Organize and maintain case files, deadlines, and supporting records.
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and courts in a professional manner.
Manage document assembly and formatting using established templates and tools.
What We're Looking For
One to five or more years of legal assistant experience.
Practical experience conducting legal research using legal research databases.
Strong document drafting and proofreading skills.
Strong organizational skills for managing deadlines and case files.
Strong written English — our company works in English.
Experience with case management software and document assembly tools.
