Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney for a fully remote position based in Saratoga Springs, NY. The candidate must reside in New York State and have experience in New York foreclosure law. This role requires a professional with at least one year of experience in commercial foreclosures or title proceedings, though newly admitted attorneys with a strong interest in these areas are encouraged to apply.

• Manage high-volume statewide commercial foreclosure matters.
• Ensure timely progression of firm files.
• Serve as a liaison with clients, vendors, and legal personnel.
• Maintain compliance with foreclosure rules and timelines.
• Utilize case management systems for report creation and review.
• Draft and execute pleadings and correspondence.
• Represent cases at hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct public auctions as necessary.
• Review title searches for issues and proper party identification.

• Admitted to practice in New York.
• Admission to New York's federal district courts or other states is a plus.
• Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation preferred.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and relevant laws is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Detail-oriented with effective task management skills.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and document drafting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
• A portable book of business is a plus.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
