Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Associate with 3‑4 years of experience to join their team in New Haven, CT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, strategy, and enforcement.
Duties- Manage domestic and global trademark prosecution and strategy.
- Handle trademark disputes and online investigations.
- Draft and negotiate IP‑related agreements.
- Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
- Represent clients in TTAB disputes.
- 3‑4 years of intellectual property experience in private practice.
- Strong organizational and technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Proven problem‑solving skills and client service orientation.
- Bar admission in good standing in the practicing jurisdiction.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume practice.
- Proficiency in trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
- Hybrid in‑office/remote work schedule for flexibility.
