AVP, Technology Investment Group

GIC is looking for an AVP, Legal Counsel to join their Technology Investment Group in New York, with a future move to San Francisco. This role involves identifying legal issues in investment transactions, providing solutions, and collaborating with top law firms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venture capital law and excellent communication skills.

• Identify legal issues in investment transactions.
• Provide creative solutions to complex legal problems.
• Work with top law firms on various legal matters.
• Review and manage transactions to close.

• Law degree with strong academic results.
• 3-5 years of experience as a venture capital lawyer.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment funds is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state, preferably New York or California.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiating and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
