A law firm seeks a highly motivated Corporate Associate with 3-5 years of corporate transactional experience to join their team in West Hartford, CT. The role involves working on a variety of corporate and securities matters in a collaborative environment.

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including disclosure schedules and purchase agreements.
• Manage mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital financings.
• Handle strategic joint ventures and capital markets transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance and licensing matters.

• 3-5 years of corporate transactional experience.
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• Strong legal research and transactional analysis skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of residence, in good standing.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Strong technical, professional, and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
