No-Fault Attorney

Job Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Location: Fully Remote - Must reside in New York Experience: 1+ years of relevant legal experience Bar Admission: New York State Bar required Compensation:130K to 160K, based on experience Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a No-Fault Attorney to join an established New York litigation practice. This is a fully remote opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of relevant legal experience and a strong interest in New York No-Fault and insurance defense litigation
.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling New York No-Fault matters
, including litigation and/or arbitration. Attorneys with backgrounds in insurance defense, first-party claims, personal injury defense, or related litigation are encouraged to apply.

• Manage a caseload of New York No-Fault matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent insurance carriers in No-Fault litigation and arbitration proceedings.
• Review and analyze claim files, medical records, billing documentation, and supporting evidence.
• Research and apply New York No-Fault laws, regulations, and applicable case law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery demands and responses, and other legal correspondence.
• Handle court conferences, hearings, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
• Assist with depositions and other discovery matters.
• Evaluate claims and identify potential No-Fault and coverage defenses.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of cases.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, claims professionals, opposing counsel, and other parties regarding case status and strategy.
• Maintain accurate case files, deadlines, and billing records.
• Independently manage multiple matters while meeting established deadlines.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active New York State Bar admission required.
• 1+ year of legal experience.
• Experience in New York No-Fault, insurance defense, personal injury defense, first-party claims, or related litigation sis trongly preferred.
• Experience representing insurance carriers is highly desirable.
• No-Fault arbitration experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and case-management skills.
