Workers' Paralegal

Meshbesher and Spence LTD is seeking an experienced workers ‘compensation paralegal with at least 2 years of workers' compensation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be able to handle various tasks at one time, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have great time management, professional communication skills and organizational skills.

Candidate must be able to work independently and have a desire to assume significant responsibility.

• Providing legal support to 1-2 attorneys
• Managing client files
• Drafting legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documents as directed
• Filing pleadings and other documents
• Monitoring case schedules and filing deadlines
• Managing attorney(s) schedule
• Preparing discovery requests and responses
• Preparing medical and wage record requests
• Assisting in trial preparation
• Responding to inquiries from and interacting with clients, counsel, and witnesses
• Organizing and maintaining case files and documentation, electronically
• Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Must have recent prior experience as a workers' compensation paralegal in a law firm setting.
