** Job Description
** Join our legal team and play a key role in defending both the insured and the Company in Personal Injury Protection (PIP), No-Fault, and SIU (Special Investigations Unit) matters. In this role, you will manage a caseload involving PIP litigation, Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and no-fault arbitrations while partnering with claims professionals to develop case strategies and resolve complex matters.

** Key Responsibilities
*** Manage all aspects of PIP/No-Fault litigation from inception through resolution, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
* Conduct Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), analyze testimony and supporting evidence, and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations.
* Handle a caseload involving SIU and PIP matters, including litigation, arbitration, EUOs, investigations, and fraud-related claims analysis.
* Conduct AAA No-Fault arbitrations and represent the Company in virtual and in-person proceedings as required.
* Review new file assignments, evaluate legal and factual issues, develop case strategies, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
* Partner with claims professionals and business partners to provide legal guidance, case assessments, and strategic recommendations.
* Maintain regular communication regarding case status, litigation strategy, and claim developments.
* Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, and case law affecting PIP, No-Fault, and SIU matters.  
** Education
* ** Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.  
** Minimum Requirements
*** Experience handling litigation matters, including legal research, writing, motion practice, and case management.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to independently analyze legal issues, develop case strategies, and make sound recommendations.
* Experience with or interest in PIP, No-Fault, SIU, insurance defense, or related litigation matters.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.
* Must reside within a commutable distance of New York metropolitan area venues as business needs require with in person training/mentoring required during the first 6 months of employment.
