Job OverviewA law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join its trusts and estates litigation practice in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in estate litigation and related areas.
Duties- Handle complex disputes in Surrogate's Court, Supreme Court, and federal court.
- Draft motions and conduct depositions.
- Appear in court and advise clients in high-stakes situations.
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience.
- Strong foundation in trusts and estates, fiduciary litigation, guardian ships, Surrogate's Court procedure, and/or elder law.
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
- New York bar admission required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Strong litigation and courtroom skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive client situations.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
- Collaborative work environment.
