Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with a minimum of 4 years of trusts and estates experience to join its expanding practice in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in high net worth trust and estate planning and administration, with knowledge of state and federal tax laws.

• Engage in high net worth trust and estate planning and administration
• Advise on succession planning and lifetime giving strategies
• Address estate and income taxation issues
• Develop tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration
• Strong technical, professional, and client service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Massachusetts bar admission in good standing, or willingness to become admitted
• Rhode Island bar admission is a plus

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar

• Proficiency in estate planning and administration
• Knowledge of state and federal tax laws
• Strong advocacy and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
