- Autonomy to manage cases while receiving administrative and litigation support
- Represent clients in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accident and slip-and-fall claims
- Conduct legal research and case investigations to develop effective litigation strategies
- Gather, review, and analyze evidence supporting client claims
- Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and expert witnesses
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Manage a full caseload from intake through resolution
- Handle all aspects of litigation when necessary, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Appear at hearings, mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Provide clients with regular updates and legal guidance throughout the life of their cases
- Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management
- Active Tennessee law license and good standing with the Tennessee Bar
- Prior experience handling personal injury matters
- Demonstrated success negotiating settlements and litigating cases
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee personal injury law and civil procedure
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Client-centered approach and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills
