Experienced Associate Attorney - Business Immigration Law

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Business Immigration Law to join their team in Oakland, California. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with a preference for candidates in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones.

• Analyze and communicate options to address clients' business immigration needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients during and after the application process.
• Supervise and collaborate with supporting staff to ensure correct application preparation and filing.
• Maintain accuracy for high volume, rapid turnover cases.
• Assist clients and staff with questions throughout the filing process.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Valid membership in an applicable Bar association.
• 5+ years of business immigration experience.
• Strong knowledge of nonimmigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2, O-1, TN, E-3, and J-1.
• Strong knowledge of employment-based permanent residence matters, including PERM, EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, NIW, and adjustment of status.
• Experience handling complex RFEs, NOIDs, and other challenging case issues.
• Experience working with startups and smaller corporate clients.
• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities independently.
  
  Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree
