We are currently recruiting for a Florida Foreclosure Litigation Specialist. This will be a remote position.
The Specialist – Foreclosure Litigation (FL) is responsible for supporting the litigation and contested aspects of the foreclosure process. This role focuses on handling complex and contested matters, ensuring accurate preparation and timely filing of court documents while meeting critical deadlines. The Specialist works closely with attorneys, Managers, and Supervisors to ensure compliance with client, court, and regulatory requirements. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an ability to manage time-sensitive tasks are essential for this role.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Case Management: Manage a portfolio of litigated and contested foreclosure cases, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in compliance with court-imposed deadlines.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and affidavits under the direction of attorneys. Ensure all documents meet court, state, and client standards.
- Deadline Management: Monitor and track key court-imposed deadlines and ensure timely completion of all associated tasks to avoid delays or sanctions.
- Attorney Support: Work closely with attorneys to prepare case files, gather supporting documentation, and assist in trial preparation or hearings as necessary.
- Court Filings: Coordinate and manage electronic and physical filings with courts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with jurisdictional rules.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to provide status updates, address inquiries, and respond to escalations related to litigated matters.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including Managers, Supervisors, and other Specialists, to ensure effective workflow and case progression.
