99 INC is looking for an experienced Legal Consultant to provide ad-hoc legal support on commercial contracts, collections, payment disputes, and legal risk assessment.
Build practical exposure to commercial contracts, key clauses, transaction documents and negotiations with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices India and CALSTAR, MNLU Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing MSAs, SOWs, client/vendor agreements and purchase orders
- Identifying contractual loopholes, liabilities and commercial risks
- Handling payment disputes, delayed payments and collection matters
- Reviewing payment terms, termination and dispute-resolution clauses
- Drafting demand letters, legal notices and commercial correspondence
- Advising management on legal remedies and escalation strategies
- Coordinating with external attorneys where required
- Providing practical legal advice to protect the company’s commercial interests
Eligibility & Preference:
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience
- Strong experience with US commercial contracts
- Experience in collections and payment disputes
- Background in IT staffing, recruitment, consulting or professional services preferred
- Strong contract interpretation, drafting and negotiation skills
- US legal experience / Bar admission is an advantage
